The Jantzen Audio Wax Coil is our top-of-line foil inductor.
The insulation used for Wax Coils consist of a specially produced paper type and then the whole coil is impregnated with a unique paraffin wax, especially developed for Jantzen Audio.
Superior to natural waxes, our special paraffin wax ensures that there are no air-pockets trapped in the wax and also has a higher temperature tolerance, compared to i.e. beeswax.
Each Wax Coil is tested with the Clio system as part of quality control.
