Product description:

As part of the Revelator series, its unique solution, the best midrange performance in the company's entire range. This is not the only and only the best Scan-Speak midrange speaker, but it is the best universal one. Not all constructors like the small 12cm midrange, where Scan-Speak is different, just because the 18cm, which in turn have weak characteristics and directional ... in this situation, the 15cm caliber can be the "golden ratio". Revelator's signature slotted cellulose diaphragm is perfect for the midrange driver: the slot (hand-coated with damping material) separates and suppresses standing wave resonances in the mid-frequency range, and above 1kHz the exposure is a side effect of the SD-1's distortion-reducing effect non-linear by linearizing and stabilizing the impedance, which in turn changed with the reduction of voice coil inductance (which is what increases efficiency). With careful tuning of the filter, the upper measurement frequency can be as high as 4 kHz, and the lower crossover value is virtually unlimited, thanks to the very use of the resonant frequency (35 Hz), good quality factor (0.23) and large (for a midrange driver) linear amplitude ( +/-3mm). The strong magnetic system combines these parameters with high efficiency (90 dB). This cable can only be used as a midrange, but even as a low-midrange in small bass-reflex monitors (optimal for impulse flow characteristics only up to 5 liters).
